According to the Turkish Cassation Court’s ( Supreme Court of Appeal in Ankara ) precedent, parties’ contractual obligations arising from rental contract and lease contracts may be suspended until the circumstances causing the impossibility are eliminated.

The second topis is about Turkish regulation which states main principle under Turkish Law is payment of a cheque up on submission. In the light of the main principle, the cheque amount must be paid to the bearer upon submission to the drawee bank within the legal period.
However, the Cheque Law numbered 5941 allows issuance of post-dated cheque contrary to the mentioned principle. Submission of a cheque to the drawee bank prior to its issuance date shall be deemed invalid until December 31, 2020 pursuant to provisional Article 3/5 of the Cheque.
During Pandemic cheque holder, beneficiary is entitled to submit it to the bank any time between 13 match and June 15 as the time limitation period are suspended by a Turkish degree ıf the payment date of Cheques falls in this period. April 2020
